Our 4 step sports a 12 inch by 12 inch platform top step. Both dogs and cat really like the wide space, for just sitting or turning, to walk onto the bed.
The steps are placed parallel to the bed. The larger top step @ 12 x 12 inches square, makes it easier for a pet to walk onto the bed. The steps are 24 inches high; 12 inches wide and 32 inches deep. The rise on each step is 6 inches. The depth of each step is 7 inches, except for the top step (12 inches x 12 inches ).
